Overall Appearance:
Aron is of average height and has a slightly thin but amazing body. He's one who tends to wear a white suit shirt with a yellow sweater and dress pants pretty much all the time. It isn't too much of a bother to him, seeing that its pretty easy for him to wear. His clothes tend to stay in the same range, not really getting bothered to be changed in colors seeing that he's so poor. All of them are pretty much the same color as his suit from yesterday if you notice. His clothes tend to get dirty often but Aron just goes and washes them himself.Personality:
Aron is a dashing 15 year old that looks like he's from a very rich family at first glance. But if he reveals his secrets to anyone, they understand that he is very poor. He has blonde, wavy hair that gleam in the sunlight. His eyes are a deep blue color that resemble sapphires.
Aron can be split up into three different types of people.History:
first is his chaotic and mayhem loving side. this is probably the one people will see most often. you wouldn't consider Aron a sadist, he doesn't exactly like hurting people. yet he does like scaring them if possible. otherwise he likes going out and causing trouble. it could be starting a fight over nothing, it could be something simple yet he could turn it into a fight. Aron loves a good brawl, getting dirty and a bit bloody. his goal isn't to hurt the other person, he more likes just analyzing their inner strength. the longer they hold out against him, the more impressed he gets. if they wimp out, well he doesn't mind letting them off. though there isn't much fun in that. if his mood turns really sour he can cause a lot of chaos and doesn't really care the outcome. let's say he gets charged a ridiculous price on something, if he's mad he'll come back and trash the place. by the time the cops get there he'll be long gone.
his second side is quite neutral. he's still quite cold and judgmental, yet he keeps his words calm. he won't just jump into a fight, unless there is a good reason, and he won't cause as much trouble as he usually does. in this state of mind he's all about business. if he has to go pick up something for the resistance, or perhaps do some spying on someone he'll do it with a focused mind. when it comes to doing work he is serious about it. he won't let the troublemaking side of himself ruin things. though if he is provoked enough anything can happen.
his third, and least seen side is quite different from the others. at times he can seem to be a whole different person. warm and understanding. you might even see him laugh, and by laugh i mean in a genuine way and not his cold sinister chuckle that most see. he usually only acts this way towards his pokemon, because they can understand him more than anyone else can. even though he loves getting in fights and causing trouble he would never hurt his pokemon. he'd risk his own life to protect them, which most would never expect. the few people that he befriends are also in this category. he'll protect a friend with his life, coming in to save them when they need help. they'll see a side of him that is rarely seen, and even if they told someone about it no one would believe it was true. Aron also has a very strong sense of justice. even though he enjoys causing trouble himself, it's usually nothing too bad. if he sees something happening that truly is wrong he'll step up to help. for example, if he sees someone wrongly getting hurt he'll come to help. this can sometimes clash with his other personality traits, but it does happen.
Aron has deep trust issues. not having anyone to raise him, living on his own, and getting betrayed by many has scarred him. it takes him a long time to actually trust someone, and will analyze every conversation to see if someone is lying to him. even his own resistance members are not exempt from this. he should trust them above everyone else, yet he doesn't. he'll help out, do everything to make them stronger, but trust...that takes awhile. he trusts his pokemon of course, they would never betray him. but humans on the other hand can do it easily. they might say one thing but do another and he is never sure of this. he'll work with many people, though he would never put his life in their hands. he may protect other people, but he also protects himself. from emotional and physical damage. perhaps someone can help fix him one day.
part one (started out happy enough)Starter Pokemon: Tepig
To say Aron's past was challenging would be putting it mildly. His life started out happy enough, however--the Feix family was a stable upper-middle-class family, ordinary and peaceful, and Aron spent his early childhood playing with his toys in the halls of his parents' sizable house.
All that changed when Aron was six years old. Moments before the life he knew fell apart, he was laying on his bedroom floor upstairs with a crayon in each hand, scribbling away at a coloring book.
Then, abruptly, there was a thump and a shout of surprise from downstairs. Someone yelled something; Aron couldn't make out exactly what it was. The voice was unfamiliar. The evening quiet dissolved into a cacophony of crashes and baying voices and crunching glass. Aron remained where he was, as if he had been struck suddenly paralyzed , still gripping crayons in his small fists. And then, just as quickly as it began, the din faded. The silence left behind was heavy.
Aron did not move. After a moment, the strangers downstairs began to speak. Although he would never see the faces of his parents' killers, their voices would remain branded into his memory forever. "What the hell was that? No, what was that? I thought you said you were watching! You said there'd be no one home!" "Oops." There was laughter in the second voice. "No, no, this is not an 'oops'. I mean." A pause. "'Oops' is what you say when you trip someone by accident or something. 'Oops' isn't...'oops I just killed too people!' What the hell is wrong with you?" "Hah! Quit panicking. It's just a couple of yuppies anyway. ...What? Chill out, don't you want to at least get something out of this? C'mon, let's see what kinda stuff these yuppies have. Haha, had."
Footsteps downstairs. All at once, Aron's paralysis was broken. He threw himself backwards, abandoning his crayons, and scrambled into the closet beside his bed. He shut the door as quietly as he could. From inside the darkness of his closet Aron could hear the men come up the stairs and make their way from room to room, opening doors and pulling out drawers. He bit his lips against the sobs that clutched at his throat, so hard he drew blood. Somehow he was convinced that making noise would be the very worst thing he could do--anything that might attract the attention of the strange men in his house. He waited, cramped and in perfect silence, for what felt like hours. He fell asleep. When he finally awoke, it was dawn and the men were gone.
Aron cracked the closet door and crawled out on hands and knees, stiff from hiding. He made his way downstairs as if in a dream. He found them in the living room: the bodies of his parents, torn by a zangoose's claws. Victims of something as senseless and mundane as a burglary gone wrong.
Young Aron did not know what to do. He almost threw up. He cried. He sat next to his parents' bodies for more than an hour. He needed help, but the Feix were not close to most of their family, and Aron did not think to call the police. Finally, he did the only think his six-year-old mind could come up with: he left his house, toddled down the path, down the sidewalk, up another walkway, and knocked on his next-door-neighbor's door. The lady who lived there had always been kind to Aron. When she opened her door that morning, she was startled to see the child standing on her porch alone, his blonde hair tousled and his eyes red from crying. At first, he seemed unable to speak. It took him a few minutes to put together words, and finally he said, "I need help. Mommy and daddy are all bloody." Disturbed, the lady followed Aron home and discovered what had happened. She did what Aron hadn't thought of, and called the cops.
part two (taken a bad turn)
From there, life seemed to accelerate for Aron. It was like he had taken a bad turn and kept ending up in worse and worse places.
He was sent to live with his estranged aunt following his parents' murder. His aunt disliked him: she had many children of her own and resented him taking up extra money and space. On top of that, he was silent and unresponsive, still deeply in shock. Eventually, she grew so tired of Aron she dropped him off at an orphanage and left.
His parents dead, abandoned by his relatives, Aron was alone. At the orphanage, he was studious and well-behaved, but still rarely spoke. He did not have other friends. His time at the orphanage was brief, and he does not remember it as being particularly bad or good.
His foster home was different--it was worse. The people who ran it were very cruel to the children who lived there, especially a woman who specialized in grass pokemon. She was fond of siccing her pokemon on misbehaving children, which is why even as an adult Aron is uncomfortable with grass types.
However it was there that--for the first time since before his parents died--Aron made a friend. Like most of the other foster kids, Alyx had a troubled past. She was bitter and tough. Still, she and Aron supported each other. Her presence made life more bearable throughout those trying months.
But Aron had taken that bad turn back then, and ever since, his life was a neverending chain of the worst kind of luck. In the end, Alyx was unable to escape the shadow of her own dark past; she committed suicide. Aron was alone again. He ran away, deciding he'd rather take his chances in the outside world than stay in the place that killed his only friend.
part three (a stray)
Aron lived in the streets. He was homeless, a runaway with no family, friends, or allies. He was always tired, hungry, cold. It was a rough life, rougher than he had been prepared for. The streets forced him to toughen up and not trust anyone.
Living in the black underbelly of society, Aron witnessed all manner of crime and violence. He was still young but he had seen more than many twice his age. Aron himself lived largely on instinct; he did what he had to to survive because that is what people do, but he never thought about why. He was empty and aimless, drifting from place to place without any rhyme or reason. Even he has no idea precisely how long he spend as a stray--he lost track of time early on.
part four (life is pain)
Then, one winter, things changed again. Aron survived a brush with death by a miracle, and when his mind cleared, he realized things. He had somehow managed to not die, but he hardly saw this as cause for celebration. Besides isolated patches of contentment or comfort or humor, Aron had not been truly happy since he was a child. He had done nothing to deserve his misery, yet it had been inflicted upon him anyway. Aron then realized that everyone's life was a pain, yet they still lived with it, so why couldn't he?
part five (more meaningful things)
Aron decided to get a pokemon, that would be his friend. He never trusted anyone but still he didn't go bad. He knew that there was something in his life that would happen, soon. He didn't know when, he didn't know what. But he did know that that thing is what kept him alive through all these past terrors....
