SETH SANDERS
ABOUT THE PLAYER:
OOC Account: Zero.
What do you wish to be called?: Zero, Zero-in, Zeke. I'm flexible. ^^
Other Characters: N/A.
BASIC INFORMATION:
Name: Seth Sanders.
Nickname(s): Just Seth, though those who know his true nature jokingly call him Fox.
Gender: Male.
Age: Eighteen.
Allegiance: Kavulent.
Occupation (Position): Captain.
Species: Zoroark.
Pokemorph Type: Gijinka (Moe Anthropomorphic).
Level: 10
Attacks:
- Hone Claws
- Scratch
- Pursuit
- U-Turn
Abilities:
Zoroark: the Illusion Fox Pokemon. Seth is gifted with much of the same ability that his Pokemon has- he can create illusions. It takes insane amounts of concentration, so he doesn't do it often, as when he's doing a full illusion he can't even talk without loosing it. Don't get me wrong, it's still incredibly helpful, as he can make himself temporarily invisible or even conjure up a big scary beast to chase others away. It just takes a lot out of him, is all. The only sort of illusion he does on a regular basis is a very simple one to hide the fact that he's a gijinka- though occasionally he'll change his eye color just to screw with his subordinates. Zoroark is a tricky Pokemon by nature, and he's no different... On a different, but no less helpful, note, his dark-type heritage gives him excellent night vision.
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:
Eye Color: Electric blue.
Height: 6'0".
Build: Lean, muscular.
Other Appearance Information: He's of a pretty average height, nothing special there, with a fairly muscular build. There isn't an ounce of excess fat on him, and just looking at him it's obvious he's a born fighter. Everything about him screams confidence, from the way he walks to that cocky grin that almost always paints his face. His hair is long and red and rebellious, and though he tries to tame it with a bandanna he rarely ever succeeds. It oftentimes manages to hang down over his eyes, although that doesn't bother him as much as you'd think- his right eye is covered with an eye-patch, lost in a fight long ago. His remaining eye is a bright, electric blue.
As for clothing, well... Seth isn't the most subtle of people. His left ear is pierced, and he's acquired a fondness for hoop earrings, though who knows where he got it from. Outfits consisting of entirely black leather are the usual when he's on duty, though you'll occasionally find a scarf wrapped around his neck as well. When off-duty, he's usually found in jackets and vests, always left open. He claims that it's because doesn't like his movement being hindered by excess clothing, but you can decide whether or not to believe him.
You must remember, of course, that his illusions allow him to change his appearance. It takes so much concentration, though, that he rarely does anything but hide his few inhuman features. He has long, red claws, unnaturally sharp teeth, eyes with slitted pupils like a fox's, and triangular grey ears perched atop his head. He usually hides all of these for the sake of appearing human, though the rest of his appearance remains unchanged for the purpose of conserving his powers.
PERSONALITY:
Positive:
- Courageous. Unlike trainers, whom he finds rather wimpy for constantly hiding behind their Pokemon, he never backs down from a fight. The fact that he might get hurt is pretty much lost on him.
- Confident. He never second-guesses himself. Never.
- Intelligent. He prides himself on his astounding knowledge of all things Pokemon. He obviously doesn’t know everything, but he thinks he does, and the fact boosts his already huge ego.
- Good Leader. He can easily get people organized, and though his methods might be a bit... unorthodox, they tend to listen. Ya gotta give him credit, he's pretty well liked by his underlings.
- Down to earth. He's a very practical kid, doesn't waste his time with foolish fantasies. He knows his limits, as well as the limits of his subordinates.
- Loyal. He isn't one to share secrets, and will stand up for what he believes is right until the bitter end. He's always looking out for the people he considers his personal friends.
- Good sense of humor. He absolutely loves jokes, which you'd think to be a bad thing in the Kavulent Captain. But he can easily brush off insults or mistakes like they were nothing, which keeps him from slaughtering his own subordinates.
Negative:
- Fearless. It might seem like a good thing, but it really isn’t. He assumes that nothing in the world can touch him, and lacks a healthy sense of danger.
- Arrogant/Stubborn. In his own mind, he’s always right. Even if you can prove him wrong, he’ll stubbornly stick with his own idea just for the sake of being difficult. No one dares mess with his ego.
- Manipulative. He tends to use his wealth of knowledge and his illusion skills to try and get what he wants from people. It's suggested that you watch what you say when around him.
- Control Freak. He absolutely loathes other people telling him what to do, and has problems bowing down to others. Even though the Higher Beings are technically his bosses, and they are the ones who give him his paycheck, he can't help resenting their control.
- Plays Favorites. He doesn't like humans much. Seeing as Zoroark is a rather pack-oriented creature, he always goes out of his way to help 'morphs. He doesn't care if they're part of Kavulent or not, he'll help them. Call it a weakness.
- Prankster. He gets some sort of sadistic pleasure from screwing over innocent people. He loves playing mind games, so watch yourself.
- Temperamental. He loves joking around, yes, but there's a fine line between a joke and an insult. He's actually pretty easily offended, and his rapid switches from a laughing prankster to a furious Captain make him appear almost bipolar.
- Violent. Seth can certainly hold a grudge. If you can get through his generally laid-back attitude to royally piss him off, his temper will flare and he'll get freakishly violent. Despite his general charisma, he's still the Captain of Team Kavulent, and he isn't above murder.
- Afraid of bugs. Yes, the bossy, arrogant, know-it-all Captain is absolutely terrified of spiders. Deal with it.
BACKGROUND:
History:
- Born. Seth came into the world the way most 'morphs do- through pain, torture, technology, and just a hint of insanity. Created by a mad scientist deep in the forests of Serune, he never knew any sort of loving home. The other experiments helped keep him alive until he could learn to fend for himself, but he never knew a kind word from a human.
- Three years old. His illusion powers began to develop. Nothing huge, but he could change the colors of small objects. It was a start.
- Six years old. One particularly nasty test kills one a different 'morph whom he was friends with. He vows to escape.
- Nine years old. The lab is raided by Kavulent, the 'morphs freed. Though they wanted to join up with their rescuers, the 'morphs were turned away as "freaks". Turns out that Kavulent thought the lab was a training facility for the Lower Beings. They probably wouldn't have bothered with it otherwise.
- Ten years old. Upset by Kavulent's harsh rejection, he turns to the Lower Beings, becoming a Trainer instead. By then, he had decent control of his powers, to the point that he could easily pass himself off as human.
- Eleven years old. He and several other Trainers had gathered in secret to train, when a Kavulent patrol stumbled upon them. The Trainers immediately attacked, leaving Seth confused and conflicted. Hadn't Kavulent saved his friends from the lab? They were sort of mean, but they were also helpful. He spoke up in an attempt to defend the Kavulent members, causing the Trainers to gang up and attack him. In the chaotic free-for-all that followed, he lost track of his Pokemon and took a stray Scratch attack to the face. He survived to join Team Kavulent that day, but never saw from his right eye again.
- Thirteen years old. Though he constantly hid his species from his peers, out in the field his illusion abilities were invaluable. The ability to change his face saved his life multiple times, as well as allowed him to set his rivals against each other. He quickly rose through the ranks as a spy, being promoted to an Agent at a mere thirteen years of age.
- Sixteen years old. His skills as an assassin became highly sought after, and he was promoted to Executive of the Intelligence division. Almost immediately after, the Captain suffered a "mysterious accident" and he took charge of Kavulent.
