General Rules
We kindly ask of you to read every rule here and follow them accordingly. If there's something you don't think has been explained properly, feel free to contact Aron Feix.
Punishments are not predetermined. Whatever discipline you receive is based on how serious the offense is, how many warnings you’ve received, and whether or not you’re willing to correct it. The most common forms of punishment include character disapproval, warnings, suspensions, and banning.
X Respect everyone.
Whether it be staff, members, or guests, everyone must be treated with respect. Do not use foul language to insult another person in an Out of Character dispute. Do not flame, spam, etc. Rather than double posting, go back and modify your existing post.
X Try to remain active.
Newly registered members must post anything within five days, whether it is a work in progress biography or a friendly hello, or their account will be removed. This excludes Cbox posting.
We encourage members to be as active as possible, but we understand the lack of motivation or real life issues. Please be sure to inform us of any problems in the Departures board or privately contact a staff member. Activity Checks are conducted every month and there is a deadline for members to reply to them before inactive accounts are purged.
X Have patience.
If you are waiting for a reply to a certain topic, please be patient and try not to bother other members via PMs or the Cbox. The only exception may include a thread sitting inactive for several weeks.
X Concerning avatars.
All avatars must contain appropriate material. No nudity, drugs, or other questionable or explicit content. Avatars must respect the ProBoards Terms of Service.
X No impersonating.
There are few out there who seem to find this amusing, or just use it to mess with others, and it is just down right annoying. It doesn't matter who you are impersonating, for what reason, or why you do it. If you make an account acting as them, use the name of them in the chat box, or simply claiming you are them. Just... No.
