Roleplay Rules
X Proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation are required.
The Serune Region is an intermediate-to-advanced roleplay. This includes complete sentences, correct spelling (use Spell Check), grammar, and punctuation. Avoid using chatspeak (e.g. lol, brb, g2g, etc.) during roleplay and limit it in Out of Character interactions. While we prefer quality over quantity, three full, healthy paragraphs are our standard. Posts only consisting of one lines are unacceptable. Make your posts carry some substance. Describe how the weather is, how your character is feeling, paint a picture with words - and more importantly, remember to use proper grammar. We don't care if your grammar is perfect, but there is no excuse for ignoring important rules of punctuation, such as using quotation marks, commas, and periods.
X You may not roleplay in more than one area.
The Serune Region doesn't run on liquid time, which means you may not roleplay your characters in more than one place at a time. Unless if you are in the same city, town, place, etc. Which means that if you are in a forest you may not suddenly appear at the city. However if you are in the forest roleplaying with a human you may start a new thread roleplaying with another human in the same forest.
X Roleplay in third-person only.
Third-person is when you write as the narrator, not from any character's perspective. (He, she, it as opposed to I, me, my, or you).
X Use a turn order when roleplaying with two or more members.
During roleplay, try to post in a certain order to make things more organized. If a certain person (represented by the letter A) posted first, B replied, then C, keep the thread flowing like A, B, C, and so on. If a thread is closed, don't join uninvited. Ask for permission from those involved.
X No Godmodding or Powerplaying.
Do not take control of another person's character without their permission or make your character an invincible mastermind without any flaws or weaknesses. This also applies to making your character unbeatable in battle, such as not acknowledging the other player's attacks or shrugging off attacks without any damage. Make your character’s reactions realistic, reasonable, and give other players a chance.
X You may not start with a preset team or an experienced trainer.
You can't do that because it isn't fair to the others. However, if you are a gym leader or a champion, etc then you may.
X POKEMORPHS ARE ALLOWED
